The Secret To Happiness

I believe that I have discovered the secret to happiness. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜Š I can share my personal experience.

The secret to happiness is stop being a victim of everyone and everything that happens to you.

The secret is to empower yourself to be the master of your life. This is 110% in your own hands.

Choose how you react to all your situations, past and present.

Bad memories, bad people, disagreement with friends or family, unforeseen events (like getting robbed or a car accident, waiting in line, traffic, etc) -- these things are inevitable and happen to every single person on this planet. Anyone who tells you their life is roses is lying.

You can let these things consume you. But then you have given up your power to those things and they own you.

You can stop giving your power away to negative energy.

You can choose to grow from it and be a bigger person than the person/thing/event that wronged you.

Growth means accepting what you can't change.

Growth means opening your heart and seeing others for exactly what they are -- humans. Realizing that most humans try the best they know how. Recognizing that all humans will make mistakes.

Growth means allowing people to make mistakes b/c that is the reality of our existence as humans.

Growth means making a consistent daily effort to self-improve.

Life is full of choices and power -- what do you choose? Who do you choose to be? What type of man or woman do you choose to be? How do you want people to remember you?  It's all in your own hands.

Best wishes to all on their quests for personal fulfillment ๐Ÿ’•

  1. Perfectly written and so damn true. We become consumed by things we can't change. We become angry, frustrated and depressed. This will eventually lead to the demise of the person. We are so lucky to live in America where we can fix these issues with medications. Of course these medications carry with them a boat load of side effects that can also result in our demise. Never the less, we take them. As a matter of fact 1 in 6 Americans takes a Psychiatric Drug. WTF.
My advice is simple, ditch the damn drugs and read the above blog post and accept that the world is not perfect a perfect place to live and your life will never be all peaches and cream.

    1. Life is a journey, and we all learn as we go. Thank you for your kind comments!
